Situated directly across from the legendary ramparts of Fort Anne in Annapolis Royal, the Annapolis Brewing Company has operated at the literal intersection of Canadian history and modern craft brewing since 2017. What began as a passionate operation inside a small, historic carriage house has expanded into a foundational cornerstone of the local community. The brewery’s philosophy is deeply rooted in the historic landscape it occupies; their branding and ethos draw direct inspiration from the cannoneers of Fort Anne’s 40th Regiment of Foot, trading the artillery of the colonial era for the bold hops of the Nova Scotian craft beer revolution.
Operating under the belief that beer should reflect the place it is made, Annapolis Brewing relies on five simple ingredients—barley, hops, yeast, water, and camaraderie—to create complex but highly accessible profiles.
